The infamous Bam Bam Baklava is back at it again with New Balance. After last year's wildly successful 990v6 releases, Action Bronson had to come back around two. Bronson was one of the first collaborators to work on the New Balance 990v6, and both his Baklava and Lapis Lazuli releases had major league success. The dynamic duo is back with the Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R "Rosewater" for 2024.
The 1906R was a huge focus point for New Balance in recent months as the brand rolled out the red carpet for it with collaborations from Aime Leon Dore and Salehe Bembury. Bronson's version of the 1906R is bright and colorful, with a tangerine-colored midsole and magenta heel cap leading the way. The upper uses patches of rosewater pink nestle led into a white backdrop and coated with a translucent mesh top layer. Lime-green laces tie the design together, inspired by the rapper's respect for women's exclusive sneakers.
The Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R is due sometime in 2024, but no firm date has yet been announced. Bronson and New Balance also have the "Scorpius" colorway for the 1906R in the works, so follow us on Twitter and Instagram to see when they will be released.
