Vans is bringing the pearlized treatment back to the Old Skool 36 for the Holiday 2026 season, this time in a "Racing Red" colorway that continues the dressed-up direction the archival skate silhouette has been moving in throughout the year. The shoe made its first appearance at Paris Fashion Week, and this red iteration follows the same ornate approach established by the navy version that released earlier in 2026.

Red canvas covers the majority of the upper, with a darker red suede reserved for the toe, eyestays, and heel to add depth to the tonal palette. White stitching cuts through the build, while cream laces give the shoe a slightly aged, worn-in character. Pearls and crystals are worked into the white Jazz Stripe and then scattered across the toe, tongue, and heel in varying sizes, mixed alongside silver eyelets and smaller metal studs for a layered, embellished finish that still lets the classic Old Skool 36 silhouette read clearly underneath.
