The Whitaker Group (TWG) is churning out sneaker collaborations with breakneck speed and volume. The parent company to A Ma Maniere, APB, and Social Status has put some serious heat recently with both Nike and New Balance. They’re showing no signs of letting their foot off the gas. Next up for the brand is the TWG x New Balance 1906U collection.
Social Status took to Twitter to tease a two-fold release for the “Willful Bias” New Balance 1906 Utility pack. A “Shadow Grey” features an off-white mesh base with varying shades of grey draping the 1906 signature spine-like piping throughout the upper. The midsole is highlighted with bright orange and yellow tones to balance the otherwise muted presentation. The “Steel” colorway with a chrome finish on the piping layered over a light grey mesh base. Electric-Teal highlights are used on the logo and sockliner while deeper blue tones anchor the shoe's heel cap.
The TWG x New Balance 1906U “Willful Bias” Pack is scheduled to be released through Social Status, APB, and A Ma Maniere via raffle starting on July 8th. The “Steel” and “Shadow Grey” pair will also be available online and in-store via all TWG channels on July 19th.
