Dior is once again making waves in the sneaker world with its latest reveal - the B31 Sneakers and Derbys in Waterproof Shrouds.
Head Footwear Designer, Thibo, has revealed the B31 Sneakers in black, and they come with protective shrouds that cover the uppers. The shrouds are water-repellent, making these sneakers perfect for those rainy days. The lattice of wavy lines on the mesh uppers provides structure across the side panels, giving the sneakers a unique and eye-catching look. The Quicklace system included in the B31 Sneakers allows for easy adjustments, making it easy to put on and take off the sneakers. The injected rubber soles add an extra layer of comfort and elevate the shrouded bottoms ever so slightly.
First teased in December 2020, Dior has also introduced the 3D-printed Carlo Cannage Derbys in the same makeup as the B31 Sneakers. The Derbys also come with water-repellent shrouds, making them perfect for those unpredictable weather conditions. The pull straps conveniently secured on the heels allow for easy on and off. The Carlo Cannage Derbys combine the best of two worlds - the framework of the Dior Warp slip-ons and the silhouette of the recently-revealed 3D-Printed Derbys. The Quicklace system, combined with the water-repellent shrouds, makes these shoes practical and functional.
