The St. Vincent-St. Mary High School basketball team, also known as LeBron James' alma mater, has received an exclusive version of Nike's LeBron 20 shoe. The team, located in Akron, Ohio, has a special connection to James, who attended the school and led the Fighting Irish to three state championships before going on to become one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
The exclusive shoe, which features the school's green and gold colors, was designed by James himself in collaboration with Nike's design team. The shoe features the school's logo on the heel and James' signature on the tongue.The team was surprised with the shoes during a practice session, and the players were thrilled to receive such a special gift from their famous alumnus. James, who has always been vocal about his love for his hometown and high school, said in a statement: "It's an honor to give back to my community and the school that helped shape me into the person I am today. I hope these shoes will inspire the team to work hard and chase their dreams, just like I did."
The exclusive Nike LeBron 20 SVSM PE will not available for purchase and is will only given to the team and James himself. The team will wear the shoe during their upcoming season, and the players will undoubtedly be proud to lace up a shoe designed by one of the greatest basketball players in history.
