American based retailer Noah is teaming up with Puma Clyde are fusing the upmarket multi-utilitarian attire with basketball ascetics. Walt Frazier, better known as Clyde led the New York Knicks to their only two NBA Championships and now focuses his time on helping Puma create collaborations like this one.
The collection features three different colorways of the Puma Clyde, brown with an olive green stripe, navy blue with a yellow orange stripe, and olive green with a Navy blue stripe. The fact that each colorway is made from suede material from a specialized tannery in Japan makes these shoes quite special. Suede textiles require a specific level of expertise to be produced correctly, which Puma has made possible by producing each pair in Japan. Each pair features white laces and a white midsole, along with the "Clyde" signature on the side of each sneaker.
The Noah x Puma Clyde trio is set to drop March 16th, 2023, on Noahny.com and select Puma retailers for $190. The pair will also drop in store at the Noah flagship store, and in store at Dover Street Market London and Dover Street Market Los Angeles.
