The Air Jordan line rarely puts out a pure lifestyle shoe with much success, but the Air Jordan Stadium 90 may be bucking that trend. The shoe debuted earlier this month in a Sail/Black colorway, and many in the sneaker community were shocked at how well it was received. Perhaps the Nike brain trust knew something the rest of us didn't, as they had the new "Olive" colorway waiting in the wings.
The overtly neutral tones of the Air Jordan Stadium 90 "Olive" may look simplistic, but the silhouette has enough structural character to stand on its own. The sail leather upper has a padded ankle reminiscent of a Jordan 6 and a horizontal gradient texture on the medial panel. A multi-layered midsole helps to give the shoe some depth and a bit of a "Dad shoe" vibe. The olive highlights on the tongue, sock liner, outsole, and swoosh may remind sneakerheads of a particular Jordan brand collaboration partner known for his success in the rap world.
There is no known release date yet, but the Air Jordan Stadium Campus 90 "Olive" will cost $150 when it comes to market. Expect to see the shoe released on the SNKRS App and possibly at select other retailers nationwide.
