Jordan Brand is tapping in to its 2006 vault classics with the Air Jordan 5 Burgundy. After nearly 15 years Tinker Hatfield's design is getting an updated model.
When the 2006 pair dropped it was a new take on the classic model, it released alongside a slew of unique colorways, this included the Air Jordan 5 Green Bean, and the Air Jordan 4 lightning, both of which have gotten their own respective retro releases in the past year. This retro release of the Air Jordan 5 Burgundy will sport an upper completely draped in burgundy suede. The classic metallic silver tongue matches the pairs laces, lining and the infamous shark teeth seen on previous Jordan 5 models.
The Air Jordan 5 Burgundy is expected to release September 9, 2023, at select Jordan Brand retailers and the Nike SNKRS app. Retail is expected to be $225, while we wait for official photos of the retro, you can check out photos of the 2006 pair below.
