Jordan Brand-sponsored university’s regularly bless their athletes with player- exclusive kicks. The latest school to receive a player edition Jordan is the University of Florida. Select athletes and faculty members will get a chance to secure a pair of history just for being a part of the program.
This model of the Air Jordan Low features a sail leather base with premium suede overlays that begin at the mudguard and extend to fill the heel. Orange accents can be seen throughout the pair, most prominently on the Nike Swooshes featured on the side panels. The material appears to be textured leather that gives the appearance of reptile scales to mimic the schools alligator mascot. Orange tones also appear on the tongue tags and at the lateral toe box in the form of embroidered Swooshes. The pair is given a premium feel with quilted satin used on the sock liner and finished off with a white rubber midsole and gum outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Florida Gators' PE wont be released to the general public. The only way to secure a pair is to be apart of the University of Florida's sports program or paying a ridiculous price tag. The shoes are rumored to be limited to 250 pairs, making them even more exclusive.
