SNS is bringing a calmer palette to one of adidas' most performance-driven running silhouettes. The "Speed Is Not A Sport" colorway on the Adizero Evo SL takes a shoe built around racing credentials and redirects it toward everyday wear, leaning into soft, pastel tones that stand apart from the aggressive colorblocking typically associated with speed-focused runners.
Neutral off-white mesh forms the base of the upper, giving the design plenty of breathing room before the color details arrive. Semi-transparent Three Stripes run along the sides in shades of blue, green, and purple, keeping the pastel theme present without dominating the overall look. Those same tones carry through to the tongue stabilizer and heel stripes, while purple lands on the outsole and blue lace tips finish off the eyelets for a subtle final touch. The collar-less construction and slim silhouette pair naturally with the chunky sole, letting the shoe's shape do a lot of the visual work. Underfoot, LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam cushioning and a rocker-inspired midsole carry over from the performance version, keeping the ride responsive despite the more relaxed aesthetic direction.
