The SLAM x Nike Zoom Hyperflight "Starfish" Releases August 2026

SLAM and Nike are reconnecting two names that defined basketball culture in the early 2000s with the Zoom Hyperflight "Starfish," the first shoe revealed from a larger collection between the two brands. Additional releases from the partnership are expected to include the GT Cut 4, Sabrina 3, and Ja 4, but the Hyperflight gets things started with a colorway that leans directly into SLAM's most recognizable visual identity.

Glossy Starfish orange patent leather covers the majority of the upper, giving the shoe a finish that mirrors the sheen of a magazine cover while nodding to SLAM's signature orange branding. A white Swoosh appears near the lateral toe, with grey picking up across the tongue, laces, and portions of the outsole to balance the brightness. Black detailing runs along the side structure to break up the upper further, while reflective 3M material wraps the collar and tongue, catching light and adding a secondary layer to what is otherwise a clean orange, grey, and black palette. SLAM's large "S" logo lands across the heel of each shoe, with additional SLAM branding worked into the tongue, keeping the collaboration visible without overwhelming the Hyperflight's original silhouette.
