The summer sneaker designs are coming hot and heavy these days and Nike is pulling out all the stops. Warm weather calls for an update to your sneaker rotation and most opt for light and brighter colors and more neutral tones. Retailers like Nike recognize this and alter their catalogs accordingly. This year Nike may have one of the best summer packs ever. Their “Picnic Pack” is now three deep and uses the gingham design typically seen on picnic baskets and picnic table cloths.
Having already teased two different gingham-clad Air Force 1’s, one in red and one in blue, the Swoosh is now introducing the much bolder Nike Dunk Low Yellow Gingham. Unlike the two Air Force 1’s the Dunk uses the gingham design across the entire upper save for a white swoosh, tongue, and heel tab. The gingham pattern is constructed of a ripstop material bright enough to turn some heads. A white midsole and gum outsole round out the design along with crispy white laces.
The Nike Dunk Low Yellow Gingham is rumored to drop sometime in the coming months with a price tag of $110. Expect to see the drop take place on the SNKRS App and at other select retailers nationwide.
