First introduced back in 2021 as a part of Nike's Greater Than series, the Nike Zoom GT Cut is a basketball shoe designed for players who create separation to impact the game, also known as Space Makers. As seen on foot on WNBA star, Sabrina Ionescu and NBA star, De'Aaron Fox, this is one of Nike's more technical basketball shoes out there. We saw a first look at this new silhouette at the end of 2023, with leaks of a "White/Red" colorway, and now we'll be seeing a new Jewell Loyd inspired colorway to release this year. Loyd has been signed with Nike for the past nine years, since her #1 draft to the Seattle Storm. Featuring a colorful and playful design, you can expect this colorway to release in the coming months, right before the 2024 WNBA season tips off.
The Nike Zoom GT Cut 3 "Jewell Loyd" features a leather upper found dressed in a Lilac hue. Around the Nike Swoosh we'll see colorful smiley face graphics which wraps around both sides of the sneaker. Across the heel, we'll see "Got you!" and "Go be great!" highlighted in White, which are handwritten text from Loyd. The Flywire details and mudguard will be found accented in Red, alongside a Blue tongue and laces. The Nike ZoomX midsole will be found in half Red, half Lilac, sitting atop a Blue rubber outsole to finish off the look.
The Nike Zoom GT Cut 3 "Jewell Loyd" is expected to release in May 2024 via Nike.com and other select Nike retailers for a retail price of $190. To stay informed on all things Nike Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
