The Nike Vomero Premium "Gridiron" Arrives October 2026

Nike is bringing the Vomero Premium into Fall/Winter 2026 with the "Gridiron" colorway, a build that keeps the upper almost entirely dark while shifting the visual weight down to a metallic blue midsole that commands attention from the side profile.

Gridiron mesh wraps the upper, with tonal panels running along the lace area and collar to keep the top half cohesive and muted. Large "AIR" lettering stretches across the lateral and medial sides with blue stitching threaded through the design, and perforated sections break up the surface texture. The Swooshes carry an iridescent finish that cycles between blue, purple, and green depending on the angle, while reflective details at the toe and heel add low-key visibility. Dark navy laces and "RUN" Vomero Premium branding on the tongue stay within the same restrained palette. A secondary Swoosh near the heel and a "Not Approved By World Athletics" stamp pressed into the back of the midsole round out the finer details, the latter nodding to the silhouette's oversized cushioning profile.

The thick midsole receives a full metallic blue finish from forefoot to heel, with open cutouts along the sides exposing the Air Zoom cushioning inside. Air Zoom branding appears again on the outsole, while black rubber traction covers most of the contact surface, interrupted by small windows that reveal the lighter cushioning underneath.
