The Nike Twelve Time "Nightmare" Releases September 2026

Nike is bringing the Twelve Time back in a colorway that leans fully into its dark side, pairing deep purple with black across the entire build. The "Nightmare" name fits the aesthetic well, with claw-like graphics worked into the mesh upper that echo the aggressive detailing found on earlier shoes in Ja Morant's signature line. The mesh covers the upper from the toe through the sides, with raised lines running through the material to reinforce the graphic theme.

JA branding takes over much of the heel, where Morant's angular logo appears in a larger format on the heel counter, set against a pattern of smaller repeated logos that gives the area a textured, layered finish. The same branding extends onto sections of the midsole, and a white JA logo lands on the tongue to break up the dark palette. A glossy black Swoosh runs along the lateral side, though the toe area differs between the two shoes. The right shoe extends the Swoosh from the outer toe up toward the laces, while the left replaces that section with a raised lace guide that forms an "A" shape when viewed from above. Underneath, a black midsole with jagged edges ties the whole look together and carries the sharp, angular character of the upper.
