The Nike Shox R4 "Puerto Rico" Releases June 2026

Nike is continuing its tradition of celebrating New York City's Puerto Rican Day Parade with a dedicated Shox R4 colorway for Summer 2026. The "Puerto Rico" build channels the spirit of the event through a considered color palette and a cultural detail that ties the shoe directly to the celebration.

The upper arrives in Glacier Blue leather, giving the retro runner a cool, almost icy base. University Red sharpens the presentation across the Swoosh outline, heel embroidery, outsole circles, and insole branding, while Metallic Silver lands on the four-column Shox heel setup for a reflective contrast. White fills the larger side Swoosh and portions of the sole, keeping the overall color blocking balanced. The silhouette stays faithful to its late-1990s roots, with molded side panels, mesh on the tongue, and the signature Shox column arrangement that defined the model at launch. The standout detail is a Vejigante mask lace charm included with the pair, a direct nod to the traditional Puerto Rican festival mask and the cultural heritage at the heart of the parade.
