The all red presentation is nothing new for Nike. The monochromatic look has been used on many silhouettes from the Air Force 1, to the VaporMax, to the legendary Air Yeezy 2 Red Octobers. It’s one of those tricks Nike keeps tucked away for a while knowing they can pull it out and be successful whenever they want. Not only are they release these GS Dunks for the kids but they're also dropping the Nike SB Dunk Low Mystic Red right around the same time.
With official images loaded up it looks like Nike will indeed be pulling the all red trick out of the bag very soon with the Nike Dunk Low GS Track Red. The kids dunk will use an all-leather construction and barely noticeable variations of red tones with track red and red stardust. The only other color found on the shoe is a grey that’s used for the logos on the tongue tab and heel. Given the combination of the juggernaut dunk silhouette and a go-to colorway, it's hard to imagine this shoe sitting on shelves for very long.
The Nike Dunk Low GS Track Red is targeting a release date sometime during the Fall 2023 lineup, maybe they’ll make it an actual Red October release. You can expect to see the shoes release for $90 in grade school sizing only and be available on Nike and at other select retailers nationwide.
