With the Barbie movie debuting in theatres worldwide this weekend, brands everywhere are angling for a piece of the action. Nike is amongst those looking to cash in on the blockbuster production starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling by releasing the three-piece unofficial “Barbie” pack that includes a Dunk Low, Air Max Scorpion, and now the SB Force 58.
As if a Barbie-themed shoe could be any color other than pink, the Nike SB Force 58 “Barbie” has multiple hues of the doll's signature color on the upper. The shoes use pink foam as the base for the medials, collar, and toe box, while a darker pink hangs over the eye stays, tips, and heels. Anthracite-colored contrast finds its way onto the sock liner and swoosh while waxed black laces tie the design together along with a sail-colored sole.
