The Nike Pegasus lineup has been around for more than 4 decades, serving runners worldwide. The latest addition to this popular lineup will be the Pegasus Premium, which will be Nike’s first sculpted, visible Air Zoom unit. Expected to release in Spring 2025, the new Pegasus Premium will debut in a striking "Airscape" colorway.
The Nike Pegasus Premium will raise the bar for any running shoes on the market. Not only does this sneaker feature Nike's first sculpted, visible Air Zoom unit, the Pegasus Premium optimizes Nike Air to deliver an efficient, responsive sensation unlike any other Air Zoom cushioning system to date. This new technology in conjunction with Nike's proprietary ZoomX and ReactX foam in the shoe's sole creates an unparalleled experience.
Nike VP NXT Footwear, Kath Gomez, states: “Air is Nike’s separator in the footwear industry — no one can create cushioning innovations like we can,” says Gomez. “In running, when we combine Air with components like midfoot plates and with platforms like our proprietary foams, we create superior systems for performance. For the Peg Premium, we wanted runners to get the most energy return possible out of the sculpted Air Zoom unit. Not only does it double as a spring-like mechanism, the Air unit is also designed to engage with the entirety of your foot, no matter your gait pattern or stride length.”
The Nike Pegasus Premium "Airscape" will arrive in a simple color palette, including White, Gray, Orange hues. The flyknit upper arrives in White extending to the inner lining, tongue, and Laces. The Nike Swoosh will stand out in Gray, with the Nike Pegasus Premium branding in Orange on the tongue. Finishing off the look, we'll see a White rubber sole with the exposed Air Unit in Orange.
