The Nike Lunar Force 1 Duckboot "Iron Grey" Releases Fall/Winter 2026

Nike is bringing back the Lunar Force 1 Duckboot for Fall/Winter 2026, and the "Iron Grey" colorway makes a strong case for the silhouette's cold-weather credentials. The boot draws its shape from Bruce Kilgore's original Air Force 1 design but was engineered from the ground up to handle conditions the classic low-top was never built for.

The most noticeable departure from the standard Air Force 1 is the toe box, which swaps leather for a molded shell textured with a small star pattern. The upper extends past the ankle, with lacing running the full height and a buckle near the collar for a secure fit. Pull tabs on the tongue and heel make entry easier when layered up. Underfoot, Nike replaces the traditional Air Force 1 sole with the Lunar Force platform, adding a chunkier outsole and deep tread designed to grip wet or slick surfaces. Iron Grey covers the majority of the upper, while black fills the laces, lining, sole unit, and smaller accent areas throughout. Visual interest comes from the contrast between textures, molded sections, and hardware rather than any bold color blocking, keeping the palette straightforward and functional.
