The Nike KD 6 is finally getting its first-ever Retro run in 2026, and the "Night Vision" is leading the charge. Originally released in 2014 near the tail end of the KD 6 era, the colorway was somewhat overlooked at the time but built a steady following as Durant moved on to the KD 7. Its tactical, stealth-inspired aesthetic gave it a distinct identity within the KD line, and demand for a return has only grown in the years since.
The upper is built from black synthetic material and loaded with military-inspired detail work. Bright green hits land throughout the shoe alongside pixelated speckles meant to evoke the look of infrared night vision goggles. A pixelated forefoot Swoosh and KD heel logo reinforce the digital overlay theme, while Bright Mango provides a sharp contrast on the visible Air unit underfoot. Rounded laces complete the design, referencing the utility rope aesthetic that ties the whole concept together.
The Nike KD 6 "Night Vision" is set to release on June 19th, 2026 via Nike and select Nike Basketball retailers for a retail price of $135, with grade school sizing also available.
