Nike is adding a shark-inspired colorway to the Ja 4 lineup with the "Jaws" build, a September 2026 release that pulls from the imagery of the 1975 film without operating as an official movie collaboration. Morant's signature line has leaned into pop culture themes before, and this pair continues that pattern with a design that communicates the concept through color and detail placement rather than overt graphics.

Multiple shades of blue move across the textured upper, shifting from deeper navy sections into lighter chambray and glacier tones around the toe and midfoot. The rougher surface texture reinforces the aquatic theme and keeps the silhouette from reading too clean. Shark teeth wrap around the tongue logo, and jagged shapes appear along the vamp and through parts of the JA branding, while a red hit at the center of the tongue cuts through the blue-heavy palette with a sharp contrast point. On the side panels, dark blue hardware works alongside the oversized Swoosh to give the shoe a more structured look from the profile. A light translucent outsole rounds out the build underfoot, keeping the bottom from adding visual weight to the already layered upper.
