Ja Morant's third signature shoe continues its animal-inspired series with the Ja 3 "Tiger," one of the bolder colorways the model has seen so far. The design leans fully into its theme, pairing a bright orange base with bold black striping to evoke the look of a big cat, and the result reads more like a statement than a subtle nod.
Orange reinforced mesh and TPU monogram panels build the foundation of the upper, setting the stage for the tiger print that runs across the body. Black stripes work with the Ja 3's jagged texture to mimic a natural big cat pattern, keeping the animal reference grounded in the shoe's existing design language. On the lateral side, the large "JA" branding stays intact, with the vertical Swoosh forming the "J" and black striping helping shape the "A," blending the model's signature identity into the overall theme without losing it.
Details continue across the tooling, where an orange Nike hit lands on the ZoomX midsole unit. The heel swaps out the usual "Twelve" text for "Instinct," adding a direct reference to the tiger concept and tying the theme together from upper to sole.
