The Nike Ja 1 "We Ain't Ducking No Smoke" Releases October 6th
Memphis Grizzlies point guard, Ja Morant, will be starting his third year in the league. With his previous controversies seeming to be behind him, we'll be seeing a new colorway come to his signature sneaker, the Nike Ja 1. The "The We Ain't Ducking No Smoke" colorway takes from Ja's response to Patrick Beverly's trash talk, saying "We ain’t ducking no smoke. We run up the chimney.” This response went semi-viral, and now will land its own colorway on the Nike Ja 1.
The Nike Ja 1 “Ain’t Ducking No Smoke” features a black upper constructed of mesh and leather. The Nike Swoosh features a glossy/tinted look mimicking that of smoke. Found on the heel is a white patch with the phrase "WE AINT DUCKING NO SMOKE" displayed. The rubber AirZoom sole features a simplistic look dressed in cream.
