The Nike First Sight Shadow "Black" Releases Fall 2026

Nike is revisiting the experimental energy of its late-1990s and early-2000s design era with the First Sight Shadow, a women's lifestyle silhouette that draws clear inspiration from the Alpha Project without leaning on nostalgia. The all-black colorway keeps the shoe's bold, sculptural form clean and focused, letting the unusual construction carry the look on its own.

The molded upper shares DNA with the Flightposite line, built with a smooth shell that features raised and recessed details across its surface. The resulting texture has an almost liquid-like quality that makes the shoe's shape feel deliberate rather than decorative. A debossed crosshair divides the forefoot into four distinct sections, while a Swoosh cuts through the heel and extends upward onto the upper. Rounded traction pods fill each quadrant of the forefoot on the outsole, and wavy tread patterns cover the remaining sole sections, adding another layer of visual complexity to an already unconventional design.
