When the Nike Dunk Low was first introduced in 1985, the sneaker was actually made for college basketball. Fast-forward to today, Nike is highly involved in college sports with many popular colorways from college sports such as UNC, Syracuse, Kentucky, Michigan, and more. In 2021, Nike introduced the Nike Dunk Low "Michigan" which was an absolute hit. Recently leaked, we can see a brand new "Michigan" inspired colorway appear in a vintage aesthetic on the Nike Dunk Low.
The Nike Dunk Low Vintage "Michigan" offers a fairly unique look for a Dunk Low, featuring a few non-traditional designs. The base layer will feature black pebbled leather, with navy leather overlays. Yellow accents will be found on the Nike Swoosh, Nike branding on the heel and tongue tab, and insoles. The upper boasts a distressed, aged look which will continue with the off-white rubber midsole. To finish the look, we'll find a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Vintage "Michigan" is scheduled to release February 1st, 2024 at a retail price of $125 through the Nike SNKRS app and other select Nike retailers. To stay informed on all things Nike Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
