The Nike Dunk Low Retro "Seal of Authenticity" Releases August 2026

Nike is keeping the Dunk Low Retro formula mostly intact with the "Seal of Authenticity," a colorway that leans into the brand's retro Sportswear archive while sneaking in some personality through the details. A cartoon seal appears on the tongue tags and insoles alongside "Seal of Authenticity" text, a nod to vintage Nike Sportswear branding that adds character without overwhelming the overall design.

Light blue suede covers nearly the entire upper, giving the shoe a slightly rougher texture than the standard leather Dunk. Navy leather Swooshes run along the sides, and matching navy laces carry that darker shade through the top of the shoe. The collar stays light blue with a mesh lining, and the perforated toe box keeps the classic Dunk Low silhouette intact. At the heel, cream suede breaks up the blue and is finished with red Nike embroidery, while red also appears in the tongue branding, tying those smaller accent details together without introducing another major color block.

Underfoot, Nike opts for a full gum sole setup. The brown midsole and outsole give the shoe a warmer base that suits the retro Sportswear aesthetic far better than a standard white bottom would have.
