The original Tiempo Premier debuted at the 1994 World Cup, a tournament hosted in the United States that gave Nike Football a rare opportunity to challenge adidas and PUMA on a global stage. Crafted by skilled bootmakers in Montebelluna, Italy, the boot featured premium kangaroo leather and a more refined construction than most of Nike's earlier soccer offerings, and nine players from Brazil and Italy wore it during the tournament. That visibility helped establish Nike as a legitimate force in the sport.

The Cryoshot version stays faithful to the Tiempo Premier's original aesthetic.
