The Nike Book 2 "Iron Fist" Releases September 2026

Devin Booker is tapping into his Michigan roots again with the Nike Book 2 "Iron Fist," a colorway built around the Monument to Joe Louis, the massive bronze fist sculpture that sits in downtown Detroit. Louis moved to the city as a child and went on to become one of boxing's all-time greats, and the monument remains one of Detroit's most recognizable landmarks. It's a fitting reference for Booker, who has woven Motor City nods into his Nike line throughout his career.

The "Iron Fist" build centers on a metallic silver finish that runs across much of the upper, including the molded Foamposite-style shell that gives the Book 2 its harder, more sculptural silhouette. Black grounds the palette and keeps the construction from reading as one-note. The exterior stays relatively restrained, letting the material and finish do the talking, while the inside of the shoe opens up the storytelling. The insoles feature an all-over map of Detroit, bringing the hometown theme into sharp focus for anyone who looks beneath the surface.
