Not only is the Nike Vomero 5 back from the depths of obscurity, but the model is also actually in the running for "Comeback Sneaker Of The Year." The takeover of the "Dad Shoe" has been a significant factor in the resurgence of the Vomero 5, as it has already had several successful colorways released in the past year. With the comeback gaining a full head of steam, Nike looks to keep the momentum going with the cleanest edition yet.
The Nike Vomero 5 "Tan/Sail" is a Women's exclusive model coated in subtle, neutral tones. The upper uses a base layer of sail with tan leather overlays just a shade away from blending in with the base. The medial panel cages are fitted in the darkest color in the color palate, with a mild beige giving the shoe some contrast. The midsole and outsole use varying shades of the same palate, while the miniature sage green swoosh found on the heel is the only form of outlier found on the shoes.
The Nike Vomero 5 "Tan/Sail" does not yet have a release date, but the colorway could easily fit in with Summer or Fall fits.
