The Nike Air Safari is an OG amongst OGs and stands tall in the pantheon of Nike's greatest hits. It originally debuted in 1987 as part of the Air Pack and was designed by the legend himself, Tinker Hatfield. The Nike Air Safari paved the way for the Safari print that has since been used in countless colorways on dozens of silhouettes.
The Nike Air Max Safari OG returns in 2024 for the first time in 5 years. The signature Safari print is prominently featured throughout the shoe and encompasses the tips, heels, and collars. Black-on-black medial panels and swooshes balance the Safari pattern, while the monarch-colored toebox and sock liner provide a bit of contrast. Two-toned soles featuring black and white make up the pavement side of the shoes and complete the reissued design of this retro legend.
