Nike is pushing the Air Rift further into fashion territory with the "Flowers" colorway, a build that trades the soft, pastel tones of recent iterations for an all-black aesthetic rooted in texture and detail. The 1996 split-toe trainer has always occupied a space between runner, sandal, and lifestyle shoe, and this edition leans deeper into that identity with a more polished, elevated presentation.

The upper is constructed in black leather, giving the silhouette a cleaner and more refined base than its athletic origins might suggest. Patent-style strap overlays introduce a subtle gloss contrast, while velvet-like trim softens the collar and split-toe forefoot for a tactile finish. The defining detail comes through leather flower appliqués placed across the vamp and lateral ankle, rendered in black with metallic bead centers. The floral hits add a feminine dimension without breaking the all-black continuity.
