The Nike Air More Uptempo '96 "30 Years of Uptempo" Releases December 2026

Nike is marking the 30th anniversary of the Air More Uptempo with a special edition that finally puts Scottie Pippen's name on the design. The silhouette became one of Pippen's most recognizable shoes during his time with the Chicago Bulls, appearing throughout the team's historic 72-10 season and at the 1996 Olympics. Despite that deep association, Nike had not given Pippen a dedicated version of the shoe until now.

The "30 Years of Uptempo" makes its biggest statement by replacing the oversized "AIR" lettering along the lateral sides with equally bold "PIP" branding. The letters are reversed to mirror the look of the original, preserving the graphic-heavy character that made the model iconic in the first place. Pippen's script "P" logo lands on the heel, and an iridescent anniversary badge on the tongue rounds out the commemorative details. The colorway runs in Black, Sail, and Anthracite, keeping the palette grounded while letting the branding do the talking.

The Nike Air More Uptempo '96 "30 Years of Uptempo" is set to release on December 23rd, 2026 via Nike and select retailers for a retail price of $180, available in men's sizing.
