The Nike Air Max Dolce "Metallic Silver" Returns Fall 2026

The Nike Air Max Dolce is coming back for Fall 2026, more than twenty years after the slip-on silhouette first appeared in 2002. Its name translates to "sweet" in Italian, a nod to the traditional footwear influences woven into its construction. The raised moc-toe seam and laceless build give the Dolce the profile of a loafer, while the exposed heel Air unit keeps it anchored firmly in sneaker territory.

The timing of the return is not surprising. Loafer-inspired sneakers, technical hybrids, and deliberately unconventional silhouettes have found a much wider audience in recent years, and the Air Max Dolce had that design language built in from the start. For this colorway, brushed metallic silver covers the majority of the upper, giving the shoe a refined, almost fashion-forward finish. Grey TPU wraps the forefoot for structure, black appears across the lining and sole for contrast, and a visible Air unit remains intact under the heel as the signature cushioning element.
