The Nike Air Max 1000.3 "Pure Platinum" Releases Fall 2026
Quick Summary
- Nike and Zellerfeld refine the Air Max 1000.3 with improved fit and construction while maintaining the laceless slip-on format.
- The "Pure Platinum" colorway features a monochromatic light grey upper with varied textures and a contrasting visible Air unit.
- Releases Fall 2026 via Nike and select retailers for a retail of $180.
Nike and Zellerfeld are pushing the 3D-printed Air Max 1000 platform forward with the Air Max 1000.3, the next iteration of a silhouette that has moved quickly since its debut. Rather than a full redesign, the.3 builds on the earlier 1000.2 with targeted revisions to fit and construction, keeping the one-piece, laceless slip-on format that defines the line. This "Pure Platinum" colorway wraps the entire shoe in a light grey finish that reads almost monochromatic from every angle.
The printed upper shifts between smooth and open textures depending on the zone, with more visible ventilation around the toe, collar, and heel. Molded Swooshes sit along each side panel and near the toe, while Air branding is integrated vertically into the back. Nike and Zellerfeld revised the upper construction to improve both fit and durability, and the outsole lugs have been reworked as well. A wide opening and raised heel keep the slip-on entry easy, and a segmented tread pattern runs underneath and wraps around the perimeter of the shoe.
The visible Air unit is one of the few elements that breaks from the Pure Platinum palette. "AIRMAX 1000" lettering spans the Air window, with Future and Bowerman markings visible on the opposite side, tying the shoe back to the heritage of the Air Max program.
