Nike will continue to push the Nike Air Max 1 beyond Air Max Day, the Just Do It brand has been cooking a variety of new styles and digging in its archives for gold. For the Nike Air Max Urawa, Nike is turning back the clock to reference the original Nike Air Max 1 Urawa that released in 2004.
The Nike Air Max 1 Urawa was original made to honor the J League soccer Club the Urawa Dragons. 19 years later Nike has decided to turn the clock back and remix the original model. The upcoming pair is a flip on the classic, red shades aren’t as practically nonexistent on the pair and are only accented on the eyelets. A smooth Grey leather fills the base of the sneaker, while a black polyester material fills the toe box and extends to the heel. The pair is finished off with a white leather Nike Swoosh to match the white laces and sole unit.
The Nike Air Max 1 Urawa is expected to release in the coming months of 2023. The pair is expected to release on Nike.com and at select Nike retailers for $150. For more on the Nike Air Max 1 and to stay up to date with the latest sneaker news and releases connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
