The Nike Air Max 1 "Texas Rangers" Releases June 2026

Nike is wrapping up its MLB City Connect footwear series with the Air Max 1 "Texas Rangers," a colorway rooted in the Rangers' "Tejas" alternate uniform and the Mexican cultural heritage that inspired it. The build leans hard into a red-forward palette while layering in details that go well beyond a standard team colorway, making it one of the more design-rich entries in the entire series.

Gym Red covers the base of the upper, with Sail Swooshes providing the primary contrast against the dominant red. An oversized red midsole carries a deliberately aged finish, giving the silhouette a worn-in character that connects to the vintage spirit of the City Connect program. Embossed patterns run across the toe box and collar, pulling from Mexican art, charro traditions, and the papel picado motifs featured on the Rangers' alternate jersey.

The baseball-specific detailing is concentrated in the finishing touches. "TEJAS" branding lands on the tongue, MLB lace dubrae hardware appears at the toe box, and the insoles feature a Texas-shaped graphic. Completing the tribute, the heels are embroidered with "Viva" on one side and "Tejas" on the other, directly referencing the jersey the shoe was designed alongside.

The Nike Air Max 1 "Texas Rangers" is set to release on June 17th, 2026 at Dick's Sporting Goods and Sneaker Politics, with Nike to follow shortly after, for a retail price of $150.
