Update (06/09/23): The Nike Air Max 1 CO.JP "Michigan" will release on June 21st via the Nike SNKRS app for $160.
Who would have thought that Nike’s Japanese boutique arm was a Michigan fan? Apparently, blue and yellow are the fan-favorite colors of CO.JP and now their Air Max 1 is set to release. Notre Dame and Ohio State fans may just have to wait their turn.
What started out as a small line of in-store-only offerings for Japan-based retailers, CO.JP has morphed into the worldwide Tier 0 model for Nike and helped pave the way for the SNKRS App itself. Now the sub-line has been featured on countless Nike and Jordan releases such as this upcoming dunk and now on the Air Max 1 PRM. The Wolverine-themed colorway comes clad in alternating yellow and navy blue with a snakeskin swoosh. White midsoles and yellow outsoles with a bright yellow air bubble make up the rubber that meets the road. With the pair being a PRM model you can expect top-notch materials and construction.
The Nike Air Max 1 CO.JP "Michigan" is set to be a Women's exclusive and will carry a price tag of $160. Slated for an April 14th release you can expect to see this pair drop on the Nike SNKRS app and select Nike retailers nationwide.
