Nike is revisiting one of the most sought-after Foamposite releases ever made with the Air Foamposite One "Tianjin 2.0." The original "Tianjin" dropped in 2015 as an Asia-exclusive, celebrating the basketball culture of Tianjin, China. Its limited regional distribution made it nearly impossible to obtain in the West, and it quickly earned grail status among collectors, commanding steep resale prices for years after.
The 2026 version keeps the cultural storytelling front and center. The Foamposite shell carries the same intricate Chinese-inspired artwork that defined the original, including lotus flowers, carp fish, and references to Fuwa, the mascots associated with the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Where the 2.0 diverges from its predecessor is in the finishing details: clean white replaces the darker accents around the collar and interior, giving the silhouette a noticeably brighter character while preserving the spirit of the original design. The overall palette runs through White, Light Poison Green, Black, Lava Glow, and Tour Yellow.
The Nike Air Foamposite One "Tianjin 2.0" is set to release on June 4th, 2026 in the United States exclusively via the Nike SNKRS app for a retail price of $250. To stay informed on all things Nike and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
