Japanese streetwear designer, Nigo, known for his original role in BAPE's success was spotted wearing a special collaboration Nike Air Force 3 Low at the end of 2023. Originally released in the late 1980s, the Air Force 3 Low was designed as a basketball shoe, catering to the performance needs of athletes while also appealing to sneaker enthusiasts with its streetwear aesthetic. The latest colorway to surface from this collaboration is "Light British Tan," which is expected to be released later this year. The Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 Low "Light British Brown" features a Fall ready color palette including Light British Tan and Fossil hues. The upper will be constructed in a mix of mesh and leather, arriving in a Planet of the Apes-inspired design. The pony hair base layer arrives in Light British Tan, with Brown leather overlays. The Nike Swoosh arrives in White, with the TPU mudguard found in Orange. This pair will also receive a specially designed insole, featuring a forest design from the Planet of the Apes. Finishing off the look, we'll see a Sail midsole sitting atop a Gum rubber outsole.
The Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 Low "Light British Tan" is expected to release sometime in Holiday 2024 via Nike.com and other select Nike retailers for a retail price of $160.
