New Balance is starting 2024 with a brand-new basketball shoe, the Fresh Foam BBv2. Unveiled and co-designed with NBA star, Zach LaVine, this new shoe contains significant upgrades to make this the ultimate sneaker to have on the court. The highlight feature of the shoe sits within the midsole, which features the dual-density Fresh Foam technology, providing for a softer and more responsive ride. Releasing in "Moonbeam," this clean colorway features a color palette including Moonbeam, Linen, and Signal Pink hues.
The New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2 “Moonbeam” features a fairly traditional design for a basketball, tailoring to most players. The upper features a mainly suede design, with the base layer found in a light Purple hue, with the overlays found in Cream. Signal Pink accents can be found on the heel tab, and on the inner tongue lining. The New Balance logo can be found embroidered in White on the tongue, alongside the "N' logo found etched into the base layer. Finishing off the look, we'll find a thick midsole sitting atop a hexagonal traction pattern on the outsole for superior grip.
The upcoming Fresh Foam BB v2 boasts a simple and minimal design, while also providing for the best technology that any player will want. Be sure to stay tuned for more news regarding new colorways arriving to this new lineup from New Balance in the coming months!
