The "Triple Black" colorway strips away any contrast or color play, letting the silhouette's layered construction carry the entire look at a retail price of $200.
Black suede covers the majority of the upper, wrapping the toe box, side panels, and heel across the 993's signature multi-layer build. A dark mesh underlay adds enough texture to keep the construction from reading completely flat, while the "N" logos, laces, tongue label, and heel embroidery all stay in neutral tones that blend into the overall palette. Through the midsole, subtle shading provides the only visual interruption to the charcoal base, and New Balance retains the 993's ABZORB DTS cushioning underneath to keep the performance foundation intact. A dark outsole rounds out the build, staying fully consistent with the rest of the design.
