Over the course of 2023, Asics collabs have been coming hot and heavy. There's been so much heat turned out with the likes of Kith, Above The Clouds, and Bodega all taking a swing at popular silhouettes. However, their most recent design partner may be the most notable name yet. Naruto. Naruto is an absolute monster in the anime world, and given the genre's popularity in the Japanese market and Asic popularity there, it's hard to imagine these shoes being anything short of gangbusters.
The Naruto x ASICS GEL-NYC is a dark-toned beauty. The black leather upper is highlighted with bright pink paneling around the toe box and heel. The Asics logo on the medial is dressed with a reflective silver-tone and outlined in a soft orange hue. The shoes also reveal a fair amount of Naruto easter eggs, including a Konoha emblem on the dubraes and the Uzumaki Clan's logo embroidered on the tongue.
