The marriage of New Balance and their Made In USA line creative director, Teddy Santis, seems to be made in heaven. As the founder of New York-based Aime Leon Dore, Santis developed a style that was simplistic yet sophisticated. His use of muted tones and layering materials was tailor-made for the “Dad shoe” centric New Balance.
The Made In USA line is now on season 3 under Sanits’s guidance and is more popular than ever. The newest release to be teased is a 990v4 in a pine green colorway. The simple and clean design uses white leather on the upper with mesh underlays and cream-colored piping. The New Balance branding uses pine green on the logo, tongue tag, and heel cap. The undercarriage of the shoe utilizes a multi-colored approach with white, cream, and grey on the midsole and black outsole.
The New Balance 990v4 Made In the USA white/green is rumored to release sometime in 2023 with a price tag of $200. The shoes will be released via New Balance and at other select retailers nationwide.
