Kobe Bryant first introduced a special edition Air Force 1 Mid's while he was in his sneaker free agency in the early 2000s. Now, confirmed by Vanessa Bryant, a new Nike Air Force 1 low inspired by the Air Force 1 Mid will be released later this year ready for the holiday season. This special edition of AF1 Low will not only honor Kobe's legacy but also bring back a piece of basketball history. Releasing in "Black/Varsity Maize," this sneaker will be limited to only 8,000 pairs, take a look at the official images of the pair below.
The Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Black/Varsity Maize" features a Laker's inspired color palette including Black, Varsity Maize, and Varsity Purple hues. The leather upper arrives dressed entirely in Black, with Kobe's sheath logo monogrammed throughout. Varsity Maize hues will grace the tongue tab, heel tab, and Nike Swoosh adding a nice touch of color to the sneaker. Finishing off the look, we'll see a Black midsole sitting atop a Varsity Maize rubber outsole.
