Announced earlier last week on Hunter McIntyre's Instagram, he has officially signed with Puma. Hunter is a hybrid fitness athlete, and a 3-Time Hyrox world champion. Despite being the first individual athlete to receive a sponsorship from a major athletic brand, this partnership did not come as a major surprise as Puma is the official sponsor of Hyrox, but still an impressive feat nonetheless.
In Hunter's sponsorship announcement, he said, "For the past three years I’ve been racing and training in Puma shoes. I have won all world records and world titles for Hyrox wearing Puma. I wear them not because I get paid to, I wear them because they are the best shoes for the job.”
It will be exciting to see Hyrox expand and grow in popularity, and see what will come of this partnership between Hunter McIntyre and Puma.
