There are very few brands across any industry with a signature color package more recognizable than Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design. The royal, black, and white are unmistakable. Any time you see those colors or the double lightning bolt-looking logo you know you're looking at a banger delivered by a certified OG.
The Converse Weapon had long been forgotten by old-school sneakerheads and likely never even heard of but the new school. The shoe that was once the staple of the NBA and worn by every superstar of an entire generation (until a certain someone and his signature shoe came along) is back and dressed in one of the best uniforms in the game. The white leather upper is topped off with a Fragment Royal collar and the Converse One-Star logo. A black mudguard and “Y” shaped support straps that adorn both sides of the shoe bind the Weapon together. The highlight package includes a vintage midsole, black outsole, and co-branded insoles. Of course, no Fragment Design collaboration would be complete without the debossed logo on the heel.
The release is expected to come in the approaching months with a price tag of $140.
