The cool kids at Eastside Gold have been churning out some fire lately. Their Air Jordan partnership has led to some severe heat that breaks the norm for traditional golf shoes. They’ve put their spin on the Air Jordan 1, Jordan 6, and Jordan 12, to name a few, and are now back with their spin on a classic Air Jordan 1 colorway.
The Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 “1961” is ready to take the links in “Bred” style color-blocking with a malachite heel, collar, swoosh, and toebox, while the rest of the upper is coated in black. The “1961” uses a sail midsole and malachite on the outsole that is geared up with extra grip and traction to keep your golf stance steady. Metallic gold highlights the Air Jordan Wings, and of course, the Eastside “Swingman” can be found on the tongue tag.
Mark your calendars for September 8th as the date the Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 “1961” will be available from Eastside, and we could see a release via the Nike SNKRS app later. The golf kicks will cost $200 and will be surely seen at a country club near you. Check us out on Twitter and Instagram for more updates on Eastside Golf collaboration and the latest sneaker news.
