Daniel Arsham is an American artist based out of New York City that specializes in the Art of sculpting. Daniel took an interest into the world of Pokémon and has been designing crystalized sculptures of some of the most recognizable characters. He first started with crystalized Pokémon cards and went on to create life size models of characters like Pikachu and Charizard. Now he'll use his talents to design a Crystalized Bulbasaur.
The sculpture has all the makings of a Daniel Arsham piece, the Bulbasaur is a blank canvas with cracks scattered throughout the entire piece. Measuring in at 30 cm and weighing 6.75 kilograms, the sculpture was designed with die-cut foam and will come with a pair of custom art handling gloves. The sculptures are limited to 500 pieces and includes a holographic label verifying its edition number and authenticity. The sculpture will truly be a collectors piece for anyone that dabbles in the art world.
The Crystallized Bulbasaur will release March 31st, 2023, at 12 PM EST on Danielarsham.com/shop. No word on how much the sculpture will retail for, but expect a hefty price due to its availability.
