In the 1980s the Nike Dunk Low was first released, however, it did not gain the traction Nike wanted until skaters began to skate the kicks. Now it seems like Nike releases another colorway or iteration of the sneaker every month. This time we have a re-release of the Nike Dunk Low Medium Curry in 2023.
The 2023 Medium Curry edition encapsulates the essence of its OG predecessor through an amalgamation of diverse materials and captivating hues. In this delectable offering, shaggy suede overlays grace the mudguard, eye stays, and heel, presenting a warm tan tone that aptly earns the name medium curry. Contrasting elegance, a sail leather finish adorns the toebox, quarter panel, and collar, adding a touch of sophistication. The same sail hue extends gracefully to the laces and tongue, harmonizing with the brown Nike branding showcased on the tag above. Displaying their iconic presence, the midfoot Swoosh and the heel tab emerge in a gentle shade of light tan, enveloped in the plushness of the suede material. This delightful color palette harmoniously rests upon a creamy sail midsole, ultimately culminating in a brown outsole, bringing the entire ensemble to a satisfying completion.
The Nike Dunk Low Medium Curry is expected to drop once again in 2024, however, we have yet to receive an official date from Nike. The pair is expected to drop on Nike.com and at select Nike retailers for $110.
